Use a stable PAT-<CATEGORY>-<NUMBER> identifier for reusable patterns such as app header, product tile, money input, confirmation sheet, or offline banner.

Document purpose, prohibited use, anatomy, variants, default/pressed/focused/disabled/loading/error states, content rules, interaction rules, accessibility, correct/incorrect examples, Storybook story, and screens using the pattern.
