Use a stable <MODULE>-FLW-<NUMBER> identifier for a task that crosses screens.

Metadata

Record roles, platforms, entry screen, final result, release, last verification date, test paths, and related screen IDs.

User outcome and preconditions

Describe the business result first. List authentication, selected counter, permissions, configuration, connectivity, hardware, and data prerequisites.

Happy path

Use a table with step, user action, system response, screen ID, and required screenshot. Include only one user action per step.

Alternate paths and recovery

Cover role approvals, payment variations, offline state, unknown request result, printer/receipt delivery failure, cancellation, retry, and reversal. Separate a completed sale from a failed follow-up delivery.

Completion and coverage

Specify irreversible records, state changes, audit entries, next actions, Maestro flow, Playwright test, API test, and visual snapshots required before completion.
